Marketing Cloud – Making Marketing More Effective and Efficient

Cloudwords is pleased to announce it has joined Marketing Cloud, a collection of cloud-based marketing services that make internal marketing functions more efficient and external marketing programs more effective.  Through Marketing Cloud, we will help to bring the latest trends, research and best practices to our community and the larger marketing community.

In the coming months, you will see us talking about different Marketing Cloud related events including webinars, live seminars and a handful of super cool network events – cause marketers need to let their hair down too.

The first Marketing Cloud event since we’ve joined will be a webinar with Gary Vaynerchuk.  What a great way to start!  Vaynerchuk is the 35-year-old New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author who is also a self-trained wine and social media expert.  In this webinar, Vaynerchuk promises to make us realize how fully committing to social media is the best way to turn anonymous visitors into acquaintances, and acquaintances into customers, and customers into fans.

He will also show you why the objections from old school regimes can kill your business. Vaynerchuk will also argue:

  • Why looking for immediate ROI is way, way, way too short-sighted
  • Why you will regret giving in to the “we’re doing fine without social media” argument
  • How the “legal issues” complaint has been managed by brands you hear about every day
